Welcome to Waldo County Search and Rescue!
Formed in 1986, Waldo County Search and Rescue is called upon to assist in ground searches throughout the state of Maine. When activated, we are under the direct control of the Maine Warden Service. We are called out for searches 6 – 12 times per year.
Waldo County Search and Rescue is a non-profit organization made up entirely of volunteers, and existing on member-donated funds, grants and charitable contributions.
